Seems like strange timing. Could be a huge gaff, but might also be genius. Now, if they can just find a theatre in which to play it.

Sounds horrible. Like a B move you would expect to see Gilbert Gottfried and Rhonda Shear playing on USA Up All Night.

Jim Rome had a segment on this/Bay last week where he tore it and the idea of even doing it right now apart.

Is it a sensitive topic? Its just kind of a reality. It's not like someone making a George Floyd movie

I had no interest in seeing this but if that d-bag is against it, it can't be all bad.

Is it 2002?

I wouldn't call it sensitive, but I would say it's pretty hacky. I have no interest in a movie that projects covid keeping quarantines in place for 4+ years in some doom and gloom society while we're right in the middle of the pandemic, much less one made by Bay.

We've gone back in time! No more COVID! (Yet!)

This is being touted as the first movie to film again in LA during the *actual* pandemic. It was really hastily put together. And I honestly don't know how much money it would take to pay me to watch it, as it looks like an absolute beat down of a viewing experience. This honestly comes across as a mild form of torture to have to sit through.

It's the exact future the left wants. It looks like a combo of Australian and Chinese quarantine tactics with absolute government control. This is exactly what a world with a completely shutdown economy with martial law would look like.

And yet, there are plenty of masochists who will watch.

I like Bradley Whitmore and Peter Stormare (and certain things about Alex Daddario). I also like apocalyptic films, so I'll probably give it a go.

That said, poor taste to put this out now. Financially, I get why they are doing it. Iron hot, etc. Still...damn, bro.

Finally - I guess I shouldn't be surprise that 16 managed to make an appearance on page one. That forum has a higher R0 than any virus.
