Just putting it out there that I thought this was a really enjoyable family movie. I haven't enjoyed many of the recent animated movies, but I laughed and smiled quite a bit during this one. All my kids had a good time too (ages 16, 14, 10).
If you want to get the family out of the house I recommend it.
On a side note, the sad reality of 2020 was easy to see inside the theater. Only one employee (manager) behind the counter selling tickets and concessions. He was so attentive and verbally appreciative of every customer. There were defintely customers there, but the theater was dead compared to pre covid. They are really hurting and my heart goes out to them. I need to find ways to keep supporting local theaters and encouraging others to do the same.
