Needs to go on the Mount Rushmore of films you have to just stop down and watch anytime you see it on the guide.

Doesn't matter when you pick it up, just gets better all the way through. Doesn't help that Marisa Tomei is a smoke show.

One of the best movies ever. Saw it in the theater. It was absolutely packed and it brought the house down. It's easily one of my all time favorite theater experiences.

And Marissa Tomei was tippy top PEAK hotness back then. She's still an all timer but in the early 90's she was untouchable.

I remember turning this on one random, hungover Saturday in college just to see how stupid it was. Laughed our asses off the whole time.

And my favorite, not super popular, funny moment is when they are eating outside at the picnic table. Joe Pesci takes a bite of his ribs, gets a disgusted look on his face because they obviously taste terrible, then starts looking around for someone's ass to kick. All while the girlfriend is rambling on and on. Always cracks me up.

Next year is my 40th birthday on Halloween. Going to tell my wife my birthday present from her will be to dress as Tomei and Pesci. I'm going to find the old school Tux he wears because of all the mud.

She will stick out like a sore thumb.

Whole movie is great, but that last courtroom scene has to be one of the best scenes in film history.

EDIT: Actually, all of the courtroom scenes were amazing.

And don't forget how great Herman Munster was.

What I love about this is the southerners weren't poorly portrayed, it was just differences and misunderstandings.

And when they realized they had the wrong guys they didn't try to cover their mistakes.

It really is a great movie.

My favorite that I use all the time is the final lunch scene when he's smarting off about Mona Lisa's pictures. The sarcastic voice he uses slays me. And her look through it all is blazing hot.

"Oh these are going to be a big help."

Not a good clip out there of the whole exchange, just the climactic ending.

Fred Gwynne was very convincing as a judge from Alabama. In real life he was a native New Yorker.

During the filming of My Cousin Vinny, Fred was dealing with pancreatic cancer, and passed on a year after the film was released, at age 66.

My Cousin Vinny is solid. I've always appreciated how well Pesci could go from playing comedy in this one and as Leo Getz in the Lethal Weapon movies among others, to playing truly brutal killers in Goodfellas and Casino.

I watched in law school and it is occasionally cited in CLE courses. A legal drama/comedy where they actually listened to the consultants.
