Yeah, I wouldn't recommend it

I do not care for rugged Harrison Ford survivalist George Clooney. Please, sir, bring back the suave, Brat Pack/Ocean's 11 George Clooney.

I did not find it that great either. Like above I wanted to like it much more than I did.

Hmm, I just put this in my list. It looks good.

I recommend it. Wasn't expecting much from a Netflix scifi, but I found myself enjoying it about as much as I did Gravity.

It's well-acted, but it's just so bleak and hopeless. If you've had a rough 2020, this is not a movie to go out on.

WTF inspired them to release this at Christmas?

I'm a notorious grinch but this was just a depressing trip to nowhere.

The science is bull **** (Goldilocks moon around Jupiter?) and the fiction is boring.

Very meh. Predicted the ending halfway through.

I didn't think it was as bad as some of the reviews I've read but I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater. The big reveal was a bit predictable but if I had any complaints it would be the ending with the two astronauts who decided to return to earth for what I presumed would be their ultimate death. It struck me as odd that they would abandon their crew (one of whom was pregnant) rather than assist them with the return trip

These are the only 2 movies I've seen during my holiday break.

I watched this earlier today and am still thinking over it. That itself is usually a good sign in my book. I know I didn't much like it while it was going on, but here, after having watched it, I feel like I like it.

It's much, much more an emotional sci-if then a cerebral one - and I think that explains why I didn't like it while watching, but kind of feel fondly of it after completing it. The acting was top notch, but I don't want to think too hard about the plot because there are plot holes I know are just there if I scratch the surface.

A few random points:
- did they de-age Clooney's voice and dub it over Ethan Peck? Or did Ethan Peck bail Clooney's voice?
- How is Ethan Peck not a bigger star yet?
- The woman who played Maya feels like a star in the making

Spoilers:

Called the "twist" fairly early on, but I was thinking the girl actually was Iris and there'd be some time travel going on. So the girl was just a figment of his imagination, correct?

I do wish we'd gotten more of an explanation on what the event actually was.
