Has anyone watched this show? I finished the show (or what's been filmed to date) and enjoyed it. Just curious about other opinions.

I started it. Got through season 1 and never could really figure out what kind of show it was trying to be.

Almost like a Castle police procedural, but with the devil instead of an author, but with less charismatic actors

Then 2nd season started and it felt like a different show, but still not very good

I wanted to like it, but it never got above what felt like a CW show

I stopped watching after two episodes.....

Love this show...

Now through season 5.5 it has had a nice arc and story development.

I find them storylines fun, quirky, with just some humor and not too serious.

I'm rewatching it again as the second half of season 5 is coming.

FYI - I think this is part of the DC universe.

other than using character's names, this show has 0 (zero, nada, nothing, etc) to do with the DC comics that the characters are from.

no plot points are used.
no storylines.
hell the original was a post-modern fantasy, not a police serial.

Its funny you said Castle - I was looking for my next show & decided that I would watch Castle. My wife loved it. Seemed like it was a good mix of comedy and who-done-it. But I couldn't find it on any of our subscribed channels (netflix, amazon, etc.). So I ended up with Lucifer, which checked some of the same boxes.

I've watched all of the episodes currently on Netflix. I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.
