It was like a web show he did after retiring from CNN. Only familiar w/ it because he had Norm MacDonald on.

King had a pretty great radio show at one time. Used to listen to a lot of radio in the 80's and 90's when I was studying. His style of interviewing was great on a longform radio show when he could play with the guest and get to know them over an hour or two.

The original podcaster?

Kind of like that. There were commercial breaks of course, but he'd keep the guests on for more than one segment. It wasn't all topical quick hits or talking points. They'd eventually end up swapping stories about the early days of their careers, people they remember, mixed in with some "what's going on in the world." Kind of like Coast to Coast AM, minus the weird stuff.
