The wandavision derail got me thinking. I love the good xmen movies and magnetos origin had to do with the holocaust. I think this could be a really cool concept of magneto destroying some nazis. I also love a "bad guy" that is complex and relateable where you can actually understand why they are the way they are. Someone should let Hollywood know to make this happen.

Yes but that was a snippet. Id like an entire movie on that part.

Like going in depth with the relationship with his family and relationships....the stress and drama when the holocaust is beginning... it would be more of that kind of movie...wouldn't see the powers until the end. Maybe a tiny bit of that foreshadowing but mostly a very sympathetic family going through what happens.

Yeah First Class was his origin story-- it is awesome and I love the character but he doesn't need the Spiderman treatment.

He will probably get the Tom Holland Spider-Man treatment. We've already seen the origin done really well, so why show it again?

Someone needs to tell Batman movie writers the same thing...

I'd really like to know what happened the night Batman's parents were killed. They just never bring it up in any of the movies.

I loved first class and yes that was more on his and prof x origin when they were older. Im talking about one from him at much younger. They touched on that in first class but id like an entire movie on that part of his life...

Interesting note about First Class is the Magneto part of that story was folded in from the planned X-Men Origins: Magneto that was abandoned. It was going to basically be a Bond-like film with Magneto being the absolute badass we saw with him hunting Nazis in the first part of First Class.

Fassbender destroying those guys at the bar in South America really let you know how much different First Class was going to be.

They should have gone with that origins story and skipped a couple others.

i'd like to see more about his time with EZ company, parachuting into Normandy on D-Day. and maybe explore more of his relationship with Bane before he became the hulking villain we later came to know. where did they go wrong?

Yep. Watched that last night. Seeing lots of big names pop in here and there. Jimmy Fallon, Simon Pegg, Gwyneth Paltrow, and a bunch more like Fassbender and Tom Hardy.

As much as the new/alternate XMen devolved as the movies went on, I'd love another one with Fassbender and McAvoy. Hell, I'd be happy if it was just two hours of Charles and Erik just picking something to watch on Netflix.

Pretty impressive how great the pairings of both Fassbender-McAvoy and McKellan-Stewart were. Whoever are cast in those roles for the MCU have some huge shoes to fill.

The X-Men series wasn't perfect, but they did a lot of things right, considering the idea of a cinematic universe didn't really exist when it started.
