Just got into this show, and enjoyed the human aspect of the history. Aaand it's cancelled.
I know there was a thread about one season wonder shows, but this one is still fresh. I figured it deserved a thread.

oh the movie is awesome. STARK contrast to the characters in the netflix bs... it was literally like a hitpiece.

It was a Disney/Natgeo show. It was good but not great and slow at times. It was hard to connect with the characters and the writing felt incongruent and never sucked you in. For it to be connected to Disney I expected more.
