Watched this the other day.

I don't think I have laughed that much at a sitcom in years.
Asking who the "worst" posters are on TexAgs is like asking which jalapeño at a tailgate is the hottest, it depends entirely on who you ask and how much "maroon-tinted" Kool-Aid you've had that day.

Is the kid supposed to be transgendered on the show or did they just cast a girl to play a boy for no reason?

The woman who plays the lead character created the show. It's her character she created.

Was genuinely laughing hard. Something about the commercials made it seem like it could be fun, but I didn't expect it to be as outright funny as it was.

I also was surprised that Nasim Perdad created and wrote it - I had thought she was just starring, until the final credits came up. I didn't like her on SNL, since she really could only do one character, but it's like she finally figured out how to refine and focus that character into what it always should have been. I also thought she was a performer and not a writer, and maybe she was a writer, but where was this the whole time?

It looks like a bad SNL skit to me.

Looks like a "me too" effort of big mouth or Pen15. Or all the way back to Strangers with Candy.

No. She's playing the character as a teen boy. I wasn't sure at the commercials either where they were actually going with it but she's just playing a teenage boy in a family. A very very self-conscious, trying to hard to be cool teen boy.

I haven't watched SNL for years I didn't even know who she was, but it is really funny, at least so far. I flat out laughed out loud, repeatedly.

She absolutely is...pretty rare that someone could play Kim Kardashian on SNL and play an 11 year old boy.

I gave it a shot and I thought it was awful. The main character is so annoying, I really wanted to punch him in the face. Also, imagine if the girl playing him was actually playing a girl and she got drunk and thought she had sex. How would that be a funny scene? I'm not really sure why anyone thought would be funny if it's a girl playing a guy and the same thing happens. Seriously, it's a 10 minute long scene where he's crying because he thinks he was raped. Totally killed any possible comedy the show might have had. I'm sure people will say I should lighten up, but I didn't find that part funny at all. In fact, I'm not sure if that part was supposed to be funny, or if it was supposed to be some sort of woke moment, or what. Was I supposed to be laughing that he was crying in his mom's arms because a girl pressured him into sex when he wasn't ready?

I figured someone might have a problem with that but there's also another way to look at that.

She invited him over he chose to go, she offered him a drink, he didn't have to take it but he did. Once he passed out nothing happened, she didn't do anything,. Then he woke up and went home. Even if it was reversed in gender roles it's very typical of peer pressure and/or situations, and nothing went wrong in the end. People do have personal responsibility. it was pretty obvious the girl was trying to hard to be the bad girl and in the end realized she's found a good friend and probably doesn't need a project herself like that. He could've just as easily taken advantage of the situation and he didn't.

But in the end is a television show you don't have to watch it. that's a good thing about having a lot of choices. If every show is made to please every single person for every single reason it's never going to happen.

Sounds like Christine Blasey Ford could have written it.

No, it wasn't full of lies.

Just a show trying to be funny that doesn't need to have a political angle to everything.
