Has anyone listened to this?
This is a story about a murder that occurred in 2005 at the Orange Tree condos on West Campus at the University of Texas at Austin. I initially wondered why I hadn't heard about this case as I am both in to true crime and grew up in the Austin area, but after the 3rd or 4th episode, I did remember hearing about it at the time because a woman I was seeing back then was living in an apartment off of Dean Keaton and was terrified for weeks that there was a discovery of a woman in a college students apartment that was dismembered several blocks away. I remember the arrest of the suspect who had fled to Mexico and remember he was found guilty, but that's about it.
According to Colton, he remembered getting back to his apartment from Sixth street, blacked out from drugs an alcohol use, and woke up. He texted his friend Laura to come over. He woke up to go to the bathroom and discovered Jennifer Cave's body. He told Laura not to come over, but she does anyway. When she sees Jennifer's purse, a fight ensues, and Colton shows her Jennifer's body in the bathroom. Her reply "What are we going to do?"
Not trying to give too much away, but the podcast is great for those of you looking for something new.

Toxicology tests concluded that during her death, Cave had alcohol, marijuana, and methamphetamine in her system.
