I read the title, but I was still expecting this to be about the Twisted Metal character.

Thanks and gig'em

Looks interesting. I've been wanting to try the book out.

RDJ and his wife are producers on the show.

Based on the acclaimed comic book series by Jeff Lemire.

Also based on a completed comic series, so they have a complete story to work with.

Movie or series. Im really liking the look of it.

I am surprised there hasn't been a Twisted Metal feature film.

should be OK for teens

does have some swearing and some violence but I would place it in the PG13 realm.

That said, the producers could make it more family friendly and accessible to younger ages.
yeah but is it *for* teens or adults or kids? Who is the target audience? And is it prestige cinema aimed at sophisticated adults or is it for the hallmark MOTW crowd? I feel like I've been burned before by Netflix overly vague trailers. And maybe I shouldn't let my in-laws use my account and screw up the algorithm.

Thought it was ok, was hoping for more of a fantasy twist to it vs the scientific explanation.

It's very kiddy and innocent at times but with a pretty dark story kind of like His Dark Materials. (Think story and acting seems better in this though)

Also if the flowers end up somehow being the cure for the sick it is going to feel like eye rollingly bad storytelling. Just seemed like they brought them up a lot and for no one to look at them when they are right in front of their face all the time...

Just finished this, and thought it was pretty good! Once you get a couple of episodes in and buy into the quirky premise, I think it's quite entertaining. I don't think the trailer did it justice, as I felt like it was darker and more mature than what I expected. Thought the ending for the season was good, and look forward to the next one.
