Cool. Will watch this weekend. I went in blind on season 1 and really liked a few episodes.

Wow these were terrible. Fantastic animation but straight up boring.

Pop squad was disturbing I guess because I have a little baby so actually bothered me to watch.

All through the house was just weird.

Life hutch could have been a lot better if it focused on the space battle but I would put it at 2nd favorite.

Snow in the desert probably my favorite but still quite a few from first season I would put above it.

Drowned giant just weird and another way to fit in animated dong? And yes I get is was more of a philosophical piece which is fine. Still weird.

Rest were forgettable.

Some steller stellar animation but absolutely nothing enjoyable story or comedy wise like the first season.

Snow in the Desert and Pop Squad were decent, but the rest were pretty lame. Disappointing overall.

Ok, just watched all s2 episodes, so disappointing. I didn't care for any of them really.

Crap. Just got a notification and got really excited. May have to temper.

And there are less than half as many episodes compared to season 1, so it doesn't take long to get through them.

And they unfortunately did not take the quality over quantity approach....slim pickins

Same when I saw the thread. Really liked s1.

Not as good as S1 but had dome redeeming qualities. As mentioned, pop squad and snow were probably top of the bunch. I liked the christmas one and life hutch, which was based on a harlan ellison story. So much animation out there now, hard to surprise an audience with something really new.

Pretty meh. Even Snow was boring as hell.

Some great animation all around of course though. Why was it only 8 episodes. S1 had like 20?

Style over substance.

These were like Wes Anderson films without any plot. Just cool style and bad stories.

I didn't like the look of automated customer service, but, maybe just me.

Ice looked cool. Stylish. Boring.

Pop squad looked great. Interesting. Predictable. Generally OK.

Snow in the Desert looked great. Interesting.

The Tall Grass was very stylish, loved the shading. Story was kinda blah.

I think that All Through the House was good.

Life Hutch looked great. Kinda boring.

The Drowned Giant looked great. Stylish. Realism was impressive. Kinda boring.

One thing that I don't think has been mentioned is that Season 2, while shorter overall, and way fewer projects, had longer average run times. Some of the episodes in season 1 were well below 10 minutes. Season 2, only one that was shorter than 10 minutes.

But, none of these compare to season 1, which was full of hits. I would take almost any episode of season 1 over any episode of season 2, save for Snow in the Desert, which is in the bottom 25% of season 1.

So, disappointing, overall, but beautiful.

I am hoping for a turnaround for season 3. I am really hoping for a season 3.
