No idea if the details are real, imagined, or just great storytelling?! Either way, REK weaves together a great tale in the details of how one of his most iconic songs came to be. A great read and as Paul Harvey said, now you know "the rest of the story"!!

I forgot to pick that up and read it, but Garden & Gun is a surprisingly decent magazine. I picked it almost on the title alone when I had some free magazine subscriptions to choose from. It gets read a lot more than Travel & Leisure.
