Solar Opposites>Rick and Morty

Felt last season was a bit meh overall, but this one starting out strong.

I liked it (hated to see them in a Wendy's and don't vape commercial, but everyone has to pay bills.) Haven't seen Solar Opposites, gonna check it out.

I actually do agree when you're talking about the entire run of what we've seen at their peak.

Season 2 of Rick and Morty is a higher peak than season 2 of solar opposites. If you gave me "the next episode" of both Solar Opposites and Rick and Morty at the same time, I'd probably watch SO first though.

They've done a handful of ads like that going all the way back to season 2.. Old Spice, Carl's Jr., Pringles, etc

Last night's episode was super fun. That felt like Rick and Morty at its Rick and Morty-est. Loved it!

This was a pretty week episode in my opinion. I'm not sure I laughed. Single time except the tag at the end.

IMO the first episode with Mr. Nibus was good/funny. The other 2 episodes (duplicates & Planet Tina) weren't that great. The "A" plot in the Planet Tina was decent, the idea of Morty falling in love and dealing with heartache. The writers talked about that in the after show clip. The "B" plot with Summer & Rick was dumb and not that entertaining.

Overall, I have been disappointed with season 5. I hope it picks up & they start churning out some great entertaining episodes.

After some weak episodes, i thought the last 2 eps were great. Especially last week's episode with Rick turning himself into a turkey try to get a presidential turkey pardon.

I'd agree that this season overall has been pretty weak. The first episode is still the best one imho.

The jokes/events seem forced this season. If that makes any sense.
Also doesn't really flow well too.

Season 4 was trying too hard to be smart and ended up being a mess. So far season 5 is pretty solid.

I made the mistake of watching the "bonus" subtitled episode first so I had NO idea what was going on this week. Wish I had watched it after the main episode, it would have made a lot more sense...I think.

This was an old school Rick and Morty episode.
