I absolutely love this song, but feel good is not the way I'd describe it at all. A bit upbeat, yes, but listening too close to the lyrics always makes me feel a bit depressed.

Honestly, his type of songwriting doesn't lend itself well to feel good. I guess the closest I'd venture:

Tour of Duty? 24 Frames? Damn y'all must live grimdark lives if those are feel good songs. I love Isbell and he's brilliant but all of his songs hurt, at least a little.
