"Night Court" star Markie Post has sadly passed at the age of 70 after an almost four year bout with cancer.

I loved Night Court when I was a teen. It was my favorite of the "Must See TV" Thursday night shows, and I did have a bit of a crush on Ms. Post. When she popped up years later as Cameron Diaz's mom in "There's Something About Mary" it was a big surprise. Her and Keith David were hilarious.

Her appearing as Eliot Reid's mother in "Scrubs" was just perfect casting.

Cancer sucks.

That sucks. People just shouldn't die at 70 these days.

Both Mac and Christine along with Harry a few years ago.

All only in their 60s and 70s.

I had not heard that Charlie had died.

How sad.

I just recently started watching night court again a few months ago. Such a funny show.

Dan, Bull and Roz are still living.

And John Laroquette. He was my favorite. Most recently saw him on the librarians.

I thought I did hear of a night court reboot with Bernadette from big bang theory playing Harry's daughter. Supposedly Dan is going to be back as well. I'm sure that Charlie and Marky would've made guest appearances on it but I guess obviously not now.

Or Florence. But you have to remember they've been dead almost 40 years.

It's not quite as upsetting as something that happened the past few weeks.

I met Markie Post many years ago when she was here for a charity thing. Beautiful lady, and very sweet. One of my biggest celebrity crushes for a long long time.

This showed up on some tv shows of the 70's and 80's page on Facebook.

I watched Buck Rogers religiously back in the day. Somehow I don't recall this episode. Gil Gerard seems happy to have Markie as a guest star.

Florence couldn't hold Selma's jock strap.

NICE!!

And I'm still in denial that Markie is gone. Timeless hotty imo, although her hair and dress were strong 80s

Reminds me of this

For a young man growing up in the late 70s / early 80s, Buck Rodgers and the OG Battlestar Galactica had some major league talent plus 1-2 hot guest stars a week.

Side note, I was scared to death of the Space Vampire as a kid.

Agree on everything. Talent was great on those shows. And space vampire scared the hell out of me. Literally had nightmares with that thing in it.

My brother and I watched the Vorgon episode on YouTube maybe 5 years ago and that Mofo still creeps me out.

I just blew my own mind and now I'll blow your mind. The guy that played the Vorvon is the same guy who played Calvin Klein on Seinfeld.
