Just finished the 8 episode Netflix show "Click bait"

Very well written. You can't figure out what comes next or who did what.

I highly recommend.

Spoiler alert, it was the part about him being a bad actor and not getting work.

Too bad there's no Comanches left anymore... Ah, as long as he doesn't bring his politics, I guess he can stay

Acting was interesting. The wife was emotionless and Pia was insane. Why would a cop bring a victim's relative on a long term ride along? Strange ending.

Honestly had to wonder which network this was on prior to Netflix picking it up. Turns out it's just theirs. This thing was a mess.

It sucked me in. But it was like a rated R, made for TV, after school movie.

I found myself fast-forwarding the episodes from about #3 onward. They spend each episode diving into a specific character and their POV of everything, but then the actual killer is someone we have zero investment in at all as a viewer? GTFO with that tired theme. And also the son blasting out the "YOU'RE NOT ALLISON!!" at the girl's dad in the doorway just had my eyes rolling backwards in my head. Red herrings are fine, until everything in a given show is a red herring; then it's just exhausting and nonsensical.

Oh, and the continued use of the "media camped out and causing all sorts of noise and taking photos" theme is just so over-used. Nails on chalkboard in any show this is used in.

Wife and I watched the first episode yesterday. The acting and shaky cam was so bad that we won't be watching any more episodes. She asked "who said that this might be good?" I blamed Texags

The acting is really really bad on this show. That said, Im on the 4th episode lol. Im going to finish this, just because I hate quitting.

I agree the acting was shaky, but I liked the story and it was entertaining. Pretty depressing and it does show the dark side of social media and the internet.

I was interested until the end. Thought it developed at a slow but steady pace, and I liked the structure of focusing on one character at a time as it went chronologically. The acting was ok but for a few, namely the youngest son.

The biggest let down was that the killer was a minor character's old husband who you don't meet until the last episode and are expected to believe he's fully capable of killing someone with a hammer, then both are able to keep living their daily lives without an ounce of guilt.

I mentioned this awhile back… your entire show is character-based, individualized by episode even. And then you bring in some random killer with zero investment in that person as an audience, and it makes for the cheapest, laziest, garbage of a show and ending as possible.

Totally agree. The ending was horrible. Ruined the show for me. They shouldve just let the kidnappers kill Adrian Grenier.

Just finished today.

This one was all over the place. By the end I was so exhausted from being manipulated as a viewer that I just didn't care. Now, reflecting on it, especially when thinking about the acting…I'm kind of pissed.

They tried VERY hard to check the boxes on hitting current social issues. Like awkwardly so. It felt very forced. It didn't add anything to the story and was just a distraction. Specifically, the mom randomly throwing out that her boys can't be at the police station without her because they are black. What's the suggestion? That police are just sitting at their desks waiting for black kids to walk in so they can arrest them? The same police that have been in her home the entire time? This was confusing and not meaningful to the story. It just seemed like some writer/director felt compelled to wave their hands and point out social inequity in a show that otherwise wasn't really discussing it. Came across very disingenuous.

Show has terrrrible acting. Pie or whatever is atrocious. I took 2 screenshots of her where she looked exactly like Giovanni ribisi in one and Johnathan brandis in another but I guess Netflix screenshots just come out black. Bummer.

I enjoyed it. The Scooby Doo ending was a little silly. 'It's old Lady Doris, the Admin'. And dragging the wife and sister along was dumb, as was an old fat man outrunning a 12 year old fit kid, even if he was wounded. That fat man would have started walking after the first two minutes.

They still didn't really explain why Vinnie Chase had the dating app in the first place for old lady Doris to see.

Probably had the dating app to get back at his wife.

Show was entertaining to watch but not good enough to recommend.

The main characters haircut was distractingly bad.

I'm very bummed those screen shots didn't work. I mean it was a spitting image for those 2.
