Man. I haven't listened to this album all the way through in at least a decade and a half and it is amazing start to finish. Rap isn't made like this anymore. I love the beats and the style of rapping couldn't be more opposite than the popular rapping of today which seems to be just repeating the same line 1000 times for the whole song.

If you listened to mid 90s to 2000s rap i recommend revisiting this album. I'm on my third listen today and I'm kind of bummed i haven't given it more play in the last 10 years.

1st of the Month and Mo Murda are particularly fantastic jams.

This and Creepin on ah come up were two of the first rap albums I ever owned. I remember jamming this as a kid every single day. I still listen to a lot of the songs on the album. Youre right, rappers dont make songs like this anymore.

saw them at the house of blues 10+ years ago. not sure exactly when, but i know the cavaliers had made a deep run into the playoffs because they wouldn't come out until the game was over. by the time they got on stage they were so wasted they could barely perform, but so was the entire crowd so it was still fun.
I saw them sometime around 2008 at Emo's in Austin. Everyone in the crowd was white and there was so much weed smoke in the air. Fun concert lol.

Great album and great suggestion. Listened through this afternoon while doing busy work.

Crept and We Came is one of my favorites.

It does continue to go hard.

Interestingly, when it was initially released, the original version of Tha Crossroads on the album sounded completely different. When the remix was released as a single and became a huge hit, they rereleased the album with that version.

Would it have killed you to wait until the first of the month to bump this thread?

Literally the song that I'm listening to right now. Probably could have.
