who saw it??

we are huge Sing people at my house(2 and 4 year old) and saw this sequel last week.

thought it was fantastic!

loved all the new characters.

Favorite Sing character is Johnny though. The Coldplay cover and that whole scene in the final performance was so awesome.

Sing 1 was meh
Sing 2 was very enjoyable

Saw it this afternoon and it wasn't the worst kids movie I've seen with my 5 year old. I was mostly excited to see a theater hopping again.

I really like U2 from the younger time of my life. Therefore, I highly enjoyed the movie.

Saw it with my two daughters. Really enjoyed Halsey singing "Could have been me". Daughter #1 was singing along with "still haven't found what I'm looking for".

We saw it with our niece. She loved it and we also had fun. I think 2 was better than 1 but both are fun. They did a good job with the cast and song choices

This was my 8 year old daughters first comment.


Also loves that it stored my kids interest in U2

Was looking at the soundtrack the other day and noticed it was heavy on the U2

Took our 3 yr old to his first movie ever with this. He was engaged the entire time, moreso than he is when we have tried to watch the first at home. Personally, I loved 2 more than 1. Some better song choices IMO. Wife enjoyed it as well but is very partial to the first. That said, I didnt feel quite the high I did in this one as I did the first during the final performance.

Johnny is 100% all of our favorite character though.

Agree with every bit of this.

It was better for me but the final payoff wasn't. If the ending would have been a 10/10 it probably would be my favorite animated movie ever. And I've seen them all lol

That said, Johnny's final performance made up for that a lot. Amazing scene!

Is there? I know almost nothing about this one.

We had a chance to see it this past weekend and really enjoyed it. I echo the sentiment that 2 was better than the first - but would also argue that the final performance hit me more in this one than in the first. I agree, Johnny's scene was incredible.

Also, I'm a big U2 fan and think that could be influencing me a bit on this as well.
