ok....i would expect most people would know #2 right off the bat.....they'd know #1 as soon as a particular "job" they were doing on the side is mentioned....but i dont think most people will know #3 and it's a good one.

either way this guys whole youtube channel is crazy stories, mostly dark, mysterious, and in a lot of cases sad cause it deals with crimes or things going wrong, but still extremely interesting.

thought folks on this board would get a kick out of how he tells the back stories of these 3 celebrities....

of course, there is a problem with the timeline on #1.....im sure the steps leading up to his first film are correct but i think he gets the initial movie this actor was in wrong, but can't say cause it would definitely give it away.

worth listening to in the background no need to really watch it and it is safe for work.

Very Paul Harvey…and now you know the rest of the story.

Thanks for posting. Fun listen.

The whole crux for story #1 is inaccurate. George Lucas had already worked with Harrison Ford on American Graffiti and knew who he was.

The only part that's correct is that he wasn't auditioning.

Also, he missed the part where Lucas was auditioning actors together with Brian DePalma for Carrie.

Whoops!

I mean, it must be popular, because he's got over 5 million subscribers.

Yeah I was coming here to post this.
He wasn't some unknown to Lucas, and Roos had gotten him the audition for American Graffiti. So it wasn't some amazing one off, nor was Lucas probably surprised by who Ford was or what he brought.
And by the way, Roos produced the godfather 2, so he was a huge name at that point, Lucas would have known he was getting a good person.
The first story is largely true though, I looked that one up.

My YouTube rule of thumb: skip any video with thumbnail of creator looking shocked
And so with that, I am out

I won't watch something like 90% of you tubers content because they all make the worst thumbnail screens that look like they are made to appeal to the greeter at Costco in idiocracy. It really is a terrible trend.

I hate that Mr Beast guy.

I guessed all three well before the reveal but it took me longer than it should on Tim.... I should have seen Detroit as a clue.

Can you just list them so I don't have to watch that or add to its views and we can discuss?

1. Liam Neeson was a schoolteacher and punched a kid before becoming an actor.
2. Tim Allen was a drug dealer, went to jail, and got out early by snitching.
3. Harrison Ford was a carpenter and filled in for Star Wars auditions which got him the role of Han Solo.
