Did anyone watch this Amazon Prime original last season? It's been awhile, I think it premiered in May 2020. but it was such a great series, both me and my wife liked it. They left season 1 on a cliffhanger and I cant wait until season 2 comes out.

Essentially its a dark sci fi comedy where there is a technology that exists that can upload your memories and brain to a cloud server and your family can come interact with your virtual consciousness any time they want to.



Here's the season 2 trailer. It might not make any sense at all if you havent watched season 1.

Its produced by Greg Daniels -- The Office and Parks & Rec producer. I recommend it

The episodes are 30-45 mins in length, and its pretty bingeable so plenty of time to watch season one in the next week and a half.

Just finished season 2. Not as good as the first season but had some great moments. Love how they work some real life mentions in the show.

Season 1 felt like a half season and this one also. Wish they would have finished the story. I enjoy it. Great chemistry between Nate and Nora.

I've made it 4 episodes in to season 2 and the first 2 felt like a grind to get through. By ep 3 and 4 it was starting to get its old charm back. Its very disappointing to hear its only a 7 episode season.

Really enjoyed Season 1. Season 2 was good but not great.. still had some great moments though. Last 10-15min felt really rushed and rather anticlimactic to me.. hoping this turns out to be like a half season and we get a season 2.5 in a reasonable time.

I am through 3 episodes.
The best thing about season 1 was the interaction between the two leads, so what's the one thing they take away so far for season 2? So to this point I haven't enjoyed it nearly as much, but it's still ok.

Finished season 2 and we were legit confused why there were no more episodes. We actually had to look it up, thought they may have been releasing an episode a week and we caught up or something.

Such a weird ending for a season, IMO. It's like they just run out of money and said, ok, guess we're stopping there.

Finished it up today, it did get better. But it just didn't have the same optimistic irreverent feel of season 1.
And yeah, 7 episodes is a weird number, but the ending point did make some sense. Lots of directions to go for season 3, assuming it gets one.

I would expect it will get renewed - It got pretty good reviews, and from what I saw it had a big audience.
But even if that weren't true and it was borderline, Prime won't want to alienate Greg Daniels due to one mediocre season. Gotta think they will sacrifice 10 episodes of one show to keep arguably their best creative talent happy.

And now that I've said all that we will see a cancellation notice tomorrow.

I really enjoyed the show at first, and could deal with the digs at the "right" the first season (Choak brothers as a thinly veiled reference to Koch brothers, Kamala/Oprah 2024 poster, etc). But, the second season they went full right wing conspiracy with using the new affordable afterlife plan for manipulating the vote and making the one religious person a misogynistic zealot. Can no one in Hollywood make a compelling story anymore without bashing conservatives and their principles? I was disappointed.

I'm enjoying going back into the world for Season 3. I'm only in the second episode, but it is interesting to see Nathan out in the real world to explore that part of the story.

Also, Idiocracy is seeping in to the world with company and businesses combining like a farm owned by "Oscar Mayer Intel."
