An art student gets insomnia and as a result gets a job in a grocery store then is able to stop time.

If you like an indie Brit movie and the female form, it is AWESOME.

The Swedish exchange student is one of the best scenes that I have seen on a Prime movie.

If Hall Pass rings true to me as to how I'd act trying to pick up women after 30+ years of marriage, this movie feels accurate if I suddenly got the power to stop time. I'd spend all day at Lululemon.

30 minutes in. Uhh, is this movie really about freezing time and undressing women in the middle of the grocery store?

I enjoyed it and the camera work, especially when he transitions from the phone booth to his bed, was excellent and apparently took an entire day to shoot.

It was pretty jarring when Jared Harris pops up at the end since the entire cast seemed to be unknows (at least to me).

I did go through IMDB and one of the chicks frozen at the start of the movie is played by Bex from Ted Lasso (Rupert's girlfriend and then wife later on in the series).

Love this movie. Used to be a Netflix staple when streaming first started. The only ding it gets from me is the Farris Bueller rip off line at the end.

"You dropped these." is an awesome line as a young boy looks up at Gaia personified in human form.

I bet the actresses were completely unaware as well.

It's just such an incredibly creepy premise.

Made it halfway through but will finish it tonight.

It gets better. It did feel a bit like soft porn at the point you made it to in the movie.

Before watching and because of some of the concerns here, I did a quick IMDB check, and women liked it about the same as men, which alleviated some of my concerns it was overly exploitive.
It is a really a beautiful movie in a lot of ways. It's basically an introspective look at how men view women, but from a very positive place for the most part (at least from the main character). I do wish they would have cut the first scene though where he gets the "power". It cheapens it a bit. Once you get past that scene, there's a whole lot to like.
