Surprised no thread yet. Trevor Noah has been very cautious, an appropriate amount of Will Smith jokes are being made, the performances have been fun so far.

There are a lot of artists I've never heard of but it's cool to hear new stuff. I think I've heard the BTS song on a phone commercial. It was cool that Billie Eilish had a Taylor Hawkins Tshirt. Not sure why Joni Mitchell was even up there.

I was surprised that no thread was started until more than an hour into the show. There were some artists I have never heard of, but it was cool to hear new songs.

This thread going as expected. Start with the failed attempt to use an apostrophe, then on to the "I don't recognize these artists" and then straight into "This host sucks."

All we need now is a couple of "what are they wearing?" and "back in my days"

The fact that Trevor Noah introduced Billy Strings who was scheduled to perform and they go to him and the band beginning a song and cut to three minutes of commercials after 15 seconds of playing and then come back from commercial break and show them for another 5 seconds was the biggest atrocity in the history of the Grammys.

Well that and letting that complete spare Trevor Noah host to begin with.
