Based on The Brass Verdict which is the second Mickey Haller book.

When his former law partner is killed, Mickey Haller is left to take over the firm, including a high-profile murder trial. With the biggest case he's ever had to tackle out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Mickey discovers there may be more at stake than he thought.


David E Kelley is creator/producer. 10 Episodes. Premieres May 13.

I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

Huge fan of the books and will probably watch, but not loving that casting choice as Mickey. And Earl, seriously?

Love Michael Connelly and have read all the Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller books.

Hope this is as good as Bosch on Amazon.

I wish! I dropped out of the acting game when the wife got pregnant and I needed a steady pay check. I still have lots of friends in the tv/film/theatre industry though and I'll get back in the game some day when the kids are older.

I have no connections to this show. Just a fan of the character and hopeful this is a good treatment.
