Lea Thompson. Never really got into JLH. But growing up and watching movies with Lea in seals the deal. Even those awkward scenes in Howard the Duck.

Back in the 90s I went out with JLH. I wanted to show her I was a gentleman so I didn't make a move. After 3 dates she got mad, got out of my Saturn and yelled "what are you waiting for?"

When I read the title, I immediately thought the connection was short skirts. LT in Caroline in the City miniskirts were her signature. JLH in heartbreakers rocked minidresses, plus in a couple of other movies. My vote, JLH

When I saw that response from BES, it literally made me laugh out loud.

No way that's not fair stick to the rules. Elizabeth Shue is in a category of her own. Should have won an Academy Award for Leaving Las Vegas, but I digress. Ally with a "Y" had my attention since then and even made me a fan of Adventures in Babysitting.

Leah Thompson is more memorable to me, but other than Howard the Duck (which is kind of creepy now looking back), Back to the Future and Some Kind of Wonderful, I cannot shake her role in Red Dawn where she looked just meh.

JLH is not the same actress as Thompson but has the perfect combo of girl-next-door-gone-wild look. Very few actresses can pull off that look except for maybe Kate Beckinsale.
