This is a documentary about a fertility doctor who went WAY off the rails. Way off. Man what a doozy. I cant imagine going through what those kids did and almost worse what the women being treated went through when they found out what was going on all those years later.

I haven't and will never do any of those DNA testing services but man what a shock when you log in for the first time and are slapped in the face by being related to half the country.

The craziest thing is that there are 44 freaking doctors who were busted doing the same thing through DNA testing and this dude has sired at least NINETY FOUR kids good lord.

Watched it last night.

The poor dads that thought they fathered and raised their own biological children.

One thing that I thought got glossed over was the Quiverfull bit. Was expecting more on that, but then the film just forgot about it.

Yea that tangent stopped as soon as it started so it makes me wonder if it was a dead end and they just included it to take shots at religion and get the sound bytes they wanted to touch on a social justice topic or if they couldn't find anyone to talk or what.

Yes, those poor fathers too. We had to get outside help to have our first and of course no matter what my daughter will always be mine but I would be absolutely crushed if I found out someone did this to my wife and my daughter wasn't half of me.

The connection to it seemed to be that someone at the state AG office had a personal email account that referenced it? But there wasn't a clear tie to the doctor, I don't think?

Bizarre that it was included without anything more than that.

I must have missed that but I thought they included it because he liked that one Bible verse Jeremiah 1:5 I believe and then the others about arrows going out in to the world. I also missed the relevance of the baptisms in his backyard. I guess the lack of clear cut evidence that this was religion driven and the doc trying to pin it on that kind of lost me because I kind of rolled my eyes at that whole portion and obviously didn't follow along ha
