I ended up liking this one quite a bit. Spouse hated it, as I imagine for similar reasons alluded to in the OP.

The first 2/3 we're strong. Felt like it fizzled out at the end.

My issue with A24 besides being a woke mouthpiece is they are tryhards. I thought Moonlight was awful.

Can't remember if they did Midsommar. If they did, that is their greatest film.
