What in your opinion is the best comedy routine you've seen? And routine might not be the best term to use. Something that stands out from their routine. For instance, one of the hardest I've laughed is at this story from Bert Kreischer during one of his stand ups.

Another example might be any of Chappelle's stories during For What It's worth. Any other clips that just make you die laughing?

Ryan Hamilton's entires Happy Face special is fantastic, but the hot air balloon bit is one of the funniest 5 minutes of stand up I've ever watched. Every damn time.

I love this one, because Andy Daly (the principal from Eastbound and Down and a bunch of other stuff) spends 5 minutes saying absolutely nothing, just making fun of bad/generic comedian deliveries.

Nate Bargatze is great. The first thing i thought of when i saw the thread title was his set for The Standups on Netflix, specifically the 'milk with ice in it' bit (11:30) and the Cape Fear Serpentarium (19:23). You should really watch the full set on Netflix though.




I've also always loved Patrice O'Neal's bit on football

You have to watch the clip from Man in the Moon to appreciate the weird genius of this routine.



Maybe not the absolute funniest stand up comedian, but watching this through the eyes of the audience illustrates the risky chances Kaufman took with his comedy. Breathtaking in its simplicity, confusing in the beginning, and finally, triumphantly cathartic in the relief of laughter. Amazing.

Just dicking around on YouTube and came across this epic video, again. I remember watching this when it aired and crying from laughter. I really wish Spade's show had taken off, because I found it 100x funnier than the Daily Show.

These legends heckling Spade as he does a monologue is absolute comedy gold.

i rewatched the russian mafia story with my wife a couple of months back and it did not age well. it isnt really funny and it was then that i realized that i didnt really like the guy. I had kind of been building to that moment after watching some of his other shows and what not, but rewatching that definitely made me decide to just pass up his stuff from here on out. we didnt even finish it because it didnt elicit one single laugh from either of us.

It becomes really obvious how annoying Bert is when he is gone and they have a guest fill in on 2B1C. He requires all the attention all the time. He's exhausting to listen to. When it's just Tom and a different guest, Tom actually gets to speak and the interviews are great. Those are by far the best episodes of the pod imo.

Only two comedians that have me to totally lose it (and with multiple routines) - Daniel Tosh and Dave Chappell. Embarrassed to admit that some of Dane Cook's very early stuff was funny. Just didn't have much depth shortly after.
