I'm not sure if it's indicating that one is more well known than the other. They're both on the top layer.

I'm sure it just goes by Spotify's average monthly listeners. Radiohead is 16.6 million, Elvis is 14.5. Not that surprising that more people would be listening to Radiohead in 2022.

If it's by amount of Spotify plays, that does make more sense.

Yeah I listen to a lot of "indie"ish bands and artists. I was hoping to see yalls icebergs, though. If you recognized mine it's funnier because it's a super random, eclectic mix.

Well, it's easy to see the genre of music I normally listen to. Surprised there is no outlaw country on here since I listen to a lot of that. Now that I think of it I guess I usually use YouTube music for that...

No need to worry, 007. It's the same information you give to Spotify so they know what music you like. It's not going to hack apples stuff and get on your phone. Or maybe it is, who knows.

LOL - and I can't remember ever asking Spotify to play GnR. I think they popped up when I just ask it to play 80's metal playlists?

Anyway, isn't this app about which artists have the most streams played across all of Spotify, not how many times you personally have played them? If it is based on the number of times I have played the streams I would expect to see Savatage, Queensryche and Pain of Salvation to be much higher and GNR to not even be on my list.
