I don't do anime, other than I like Spirited Away and Speed Racer.

But I watched this beautiful, almost 20 year old, movie last night.

I was blown away. Just breathless at times.

What did you think of this movie?

Plus Great English voice casting.

All of Hayao Miyazaki's work is awesome! My kids loved these shows and I sat down and soon found myself getting drawn into the stories as well. They're beautiful movies. Glad you found them

If you want to cry, watch The Wind Rises.

My Neighbor Totoro is one of the greatest animated movies of all time.

We saw it last year in the theater for my daughter's birthday. It was fantastic (and I'm also not into anime but she has made me watch a few that I really like: Haikyuu and (not really anime but very good) Arcane).

I forgot how I happened upon Howl's Moving Castle, but I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I'm a huge Miyazaki fan.

Howl's is a beautiful film, but I thought it was mostly boring. I watched the Japanese version with subtitles though, maybe the English dub would be more engaging. It certainly has an great cast.

My 5 and 7 year old loved this one, but their favorite is Spirited Away. Most of the Studio Ghilbi flicks are pretty dope.

I loved The Wind Rises. That's my favorite Miyazaki film.
