Dang, I heard he beat Shaq at basketball one time.
He was an absolute super star amongst the kiddos when I was in 4th or 5th grade. Probably the first child star I got to see the beginning of their fame up until their death. Incredibly tragic to watch everything derail for a person.

Oh wow. I heard him on a podcast with Steve-o a couple years back and he sounded pretty depressed to me. I'm gonna guess suicide. Feel bad for the guy.

Suicide or OD was my first thought when I saw he died. Definitely had a lot of demons. remember him talking about his sister and brother abusing him.
That family was nuts. 5 kids. Leslie OD'd at 25. Aaron did whatever this was at 34. Nick and Angel had restraining orders against Aaron.

The guy reached out to Kanye on Twitter. The day before his death. Kanye, a couple of days prior, posted some info about his physical therapy "handler" who threatened to get him locked up in a psych ward like he had done prior. Perhaps the two are linked?

I mean, Kanye showed direct evidence of a damn pt coach threatening his life. That pt coach has a laundry list of celebrities. These guys almost act as handlers and it makes sense that child stars would be the ones to go through the worst of it. They don't really know what's going on and their parents just see dollar signs.
Spears had to go to court to get her life back.
Chapelle had to beg to get his name back because he signed a contract at an incredibly young age too.
How about Brittany Murphy's death? Her father had to hire a private investigator to determine what happened. They concluded that she was poisoned.
There appears to be a direct threat by handlers like the pt coach Kanye provided evidence against to keep these people in line. They apparently use drugs and manipulation to do so. It's scary. It's real and the night before a child Star who has clearly been through it reached out to a guy who was exposing this insane level of corruption, he dies?
Come on now man.
Kind of makes sense now when certain people become famous. It's not that they are beholden to ideals, it's that their talent, their music, their comedy, their lives are owned by someone else. The talent doesn't make the money, the owners make the brunt of it while doing nothing but ensuring their cash cow continues to churn out milk via sick handlers.
Blow the whole system up and expose these people. That's what Kanye is trying to do. Hopefully, via blockchain, we can further ourselves from this sick business.

Makes me wonder what Nick Carter's influence on the family was and what he saw
I've listened to an interview with nick carter. That guy is off the charts strange man. He talked about his family life and being really estranged. About choosing celebrity over school, about his family enabling that behavior. I think it all goes back to money but I don't really know. Then he went on to do an incredibly foul mouthed corporate event that was just so…not necessary, especially for the crowd, it was honestly really weird. Difficult to put into words but that family has seen quite a lot of exploitation and there are some real skeletons there. I'm not saying Aaron was killed to be silenced but I really would like to know more about his death. Unfortunately, there will likely not be an investigation by the family.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe there was a series called house of Carter's. I kind of want to watch it now

Suicide or "accidental overdosing" is pretty damn common among heavy drug users. Just by the percentages, you are going to have a handful of celebrities go out that way every year.
And come on... They tried to silence Yelchin by setting up an elaborate gear failure in his jeep? In broad daylight? While he was checking his mail?
If you believe something like that, it's hard to take anything you say seriously.

Agree with this. IMHO Carter was just a dude who struggled to find employment, and stay relevant in all probability. Doubt anyone is out there trying to off this dude who was off his rocker at times and wasn't taken seriously by anyone.
And yet the timing was very odd. Look, I've heard of handlers and how they attempt to control celebrity behavior. I've met lawyers who are essentially cleaners for them as well. Guys who are basically the first call before you call the police-types. But I've never seen actual evidence of direct threat until what Kanye posted. I wonder if the pt coach was around then as well. Look, image and drug use is one thing and it's always worse than it sounds. That's kind of the point in my opinion so folks like you have the laissez faire attitude toward their death. "Well he was a troubled youth…so…" makes me think of folks like Phillip Seymour hoffman's death as well.. or Kurt kobain, or Marilyn Monroe or…well, you get the picture, right?

Do big name celebrities have handlers? Absolutely.
Might those handlers go to extreme measures to control their clients? Yeah, I'm sure there have been some instances of some pretty crazy stuff done to keep people in line (though again, there's probably been similar extreme things you've seen from controlling husbands or parents).
But what makes more sense -- that Aaron Carter, who even at his peak wasn't all that relevant outside of Tiger Beat Magazine -- was being controlled by nefarious person/persons that offed him.... or that he had drug and/or depression issues?
