Jay Leno is heading home following a 10-day stint at the Grossman Burn Center after receiving multiple surgeries for third-degree burns suffered on his face and hands from a fire in his Burbank garage.

Doctor Peter Grossman told Fox News Digital, "I am pleased with Jay's progress, and I am optimistic that he will make a full recovery."

"Jay would like to let everyone know how thankful he is for the care he received, and is very appreciative of all of the well wishes," the Grossman Burn Center released in a statement.

From the picture, it honestly looks like his giant chin isolated most of the burns onto his neck and kept his face from getting more burned.

He just laughs it off and says something like "come on, I got burned, spent a few days in the hospital and now I'm back working again. Happens to people all the time" LOL

He agreed to step down from The Tonight Show on a particular date to make way for Conan, which he did, but then they put Jay on his own talk show to lead into Conan. Because both of their ratings weren't great, they wanted to push Jay back into his original timeslot and move Conan back to midnight or 12:30. Basically move the Tonight Show from its decades-long timeslot to put Jay back in his old slot.

Jay agreed to that, so Conan said screw it and left. Good for Conan, cause it was a bs move by both Jay and NBC. (More so NBC, to be fair.)

But Jay wasn't blameless.

Yeah, I don't think Leno is a bad dude. But between him and Conan, one was more than ready to wreck The Tonight Show if he couldn't have the job and one was not.

Jay is absolutely scummy when it comes to everything involving those late night show scenarios.
I dont know what you read that would make you think he was the 'fall guy'.
