Can I watch Yellowstone in chronological order?

I find it annoying that Paramount+ doesn't have the main show.

BUT it does have 1883 and 1923.

Can/should I watch 1883 followed by 1923 (whose 1st season will be completed by the time I finish 1883) while I have paramount plus before I get rid of it and switch to peacock?

Or should I just make the switch now and watch in the order the seasons came in the real world?

I actually like 1883 better than Yellowstone.

1883 was awesome. The only thing I hated about it was Elsa's fake Tennessee accent. None of the rest of the family had the accent, so there's no reason she should have talked like that. Drove me nuts. Not quite "Teeter" bad, but bad.

The producers probably didn't care, just throw in someone who kinda talks like somebody south of the mason dixon line and call it a day.
