Man, she was *just* on TV at the Golden Globes two nights ago, sitting next to Austin Butler, who won for playing Elvis.

Gotta be tough for Riley Keough, too (a "name" actress in her own right). Lost her brother and now her mom in just the past three years.

A number of people who were there are saying she didn't seem right at the Golden Globes. She was a lot more subdued than usual, apparently. It sounds like her son's suicide in 2020 really messed her up, and if I had to guess, maybe she was on a decent amount of medication/antidepressants, which possibly had something to do with it? That said, it sounds like she was in pretty good spirits, chipper, joking, etc on the press tour for Elvis this year, so who knows.

Both Elvis and his mother died at 42 from heart attacks. I'd be willing to bet there is a genetic factor that played a role in her death and that is to say nothing for the years of drug abuse she dealt with. In any case, she is reunited with her father and son now.

I just assumed Elvis and Michael were in different locations...

Why? They both liked diddling underaged kids.

To my knowledge, Elvis never diddled an underage kid...

And I would add Priscilla. That's still her baby girl.

I'm sure when he was hanging out alone with a 14-year old girl they were just playing Barbies.

I mean you brought up the subject. They are both equally relevant facts to this thread. (As in not.)

In her autobiography, Elvis and Me, she stated she wanted to but Elvis insisted they not have sex until they married.

I didn't bring it up. Someone else did. I think they're all creeps.

I cannot take this seriously because of this sentence.

"They both fell asleep, and Alden woke up to the sound of Elvis firing a 57 Magnum pistol off in their bedroom."
