Got my wife a keyboard for her birthday. She took lessons when she was young and wants to get back into it.

I know musical instruction has come a long way. She's not looking to become a classical pianist. Just wants to be able to play for fun.

Anybody have a good resource to recommend? Yousician seems to have the best marketing. Not sure what else is out there.

Look up the piano tutorials on YouTube that show the hand placement from above and the notes coming down from the top like in Rock Bank or Guitar Hero.

I am not sure what the videos are, but my son taught himself how to play about 5-10 songs, Journey - Faithfully, Cannon in D, and a few other super popular piano songs without a single lesson and he barely can read music.

It was really fast too. It took him like 2 weeks to learn Faithfully by Journey.

Something like this, but his version showed hand placement.
