Finished part 1 last night. Took us a minute to remember the antagonist.

Overall, we liked it.

We watched about 10 minutes of the opener but we were tired. We will be picking up the show when we feel a bit better and we are ready to focus and we can remember what we forgot from season 3. It is really hard to watch a show as two people tho

Overall enjoyed it, some good twists as usual. The last episode of this first half had a few eye rolling moments for me but it is casual entertainment so whatever.

This entire series is eye-rolling! But it's fun.

We finished part 1 last night as well. We like the change of pace. It took me a while to realize that Rhys is Stephen Bonnet from Outlander (my wife recognized him immediately).

Is there an accomplice this season? It seems like there's gonna be a few more twists…

I can't help but think that Forty from Season 2 would have loved these people. it's fun to watch Joe get pissed that someone is calling him a murderer and a psycho. He's so damn offended by it.

My wife and I are in the camp and Rhys and Kate are in it together.

Worst downer was finding out it's actually Lifetime series.

Only season 1, I think.

Fun 1st half of the season.

I'm still pretty sure the student is involved in some way.

surprised Joe hasn't banged her yet. He always seems to have the backup bang ready at a moment's notice when his stalk-ee isn't dancing to the beat correctly.

My wife is freaked out that Kate is so scuzzy after being a saint on "Call the Midwife". Personally, I'm bummed that Joe's obsessions seem to be getting progressively less attractive. Guinevere Beck from Season 1 was probably not worth all the murdering that Joe ended up doing, but I mean - you can see why he was willing to get a little nuts.

WIfe and I binged Part 2 over the last 3 days. The twist, which I won't mention, was pretty great, but they leaned on it too much and it became annoying. Huge props to Greg Kinnear for his role, I love watching an actor goes against type and wreck shop.

Finished last night.

This season was entertaining but I found the twist and ending kinda dumb. This show is basically Dexter + Fight Club. Joe keeps getting away with everything and this felt very much like a deus ex machina ending. Kate is also a pretty uninteresting character. Love was much better, I miss her.

Now the show is getting repetitive. Joe moves to new city, kills someone, meets a girl and falls in love, then gets into a sticky situation and kills more people, then somehow gets out of it, escapes justice, and moves to a new city to start over. Wash rinse repeat.

Next season will hopefully be the last one as they need to wrap this show up. Hoping he finally gets caught.

Next season has the potential for full-on insanity because we're talking Joe with basically unlimited resources.

I think what made previous seasons more tolerable was that Joe thought he was only killing out of love, and in his mind/heart he always tried to do the right thing, even if it meant killing someone lol. You could empathize with Joe in a way. This season he basically goes full on maniac killing everyone for random reasons, even if it was in a disassociated state. It makes the audience not like Joe as much.

Spoiler****

I didn't like how he screwed over his student and framed her for everything in the end. He wouldn't have done that in previous seasons. I thought he was going to care for her like a father figure like he did with Jenna Ortega's character and the boy from season 1.

Yea there was a definite shift in Joe this season, outside of just the twist, etc.

Good season overall I think, but I definitely put it below the other seasons. Was thinking of season rankings and I might put them in straight order right now, best to worst, 1,2,3,4.
