I know he gets a lot of his credit for Heat, Black Hawk Down, and of course Saving Private Ryan.

My favorite role that he did was in Devil in a Blue Dress.

I went years not realizing he was in Point Break.

I liked his role in Pearl Harbor, particularly the extended edition where there were some lines of dialogue that came out his mouth during the attack that felt very much at home for that date but were considered racist in today's overly sensitive culture.

Loved that he was collecting dirt from every country that we invaded in SPR.

RIP.,

I only know him from a few of the roles mentioned above in some great movies. He was great every time I saw him on film. Made an impact in those supporting roles and really added to the overall movie.

RIP.

I thought his short role as the glutinous mob boss in "Enemy of The State" was good as well. RIP.

He was the perfect counterpoint for Hanks' soft-spoken leader in SPR.

He had more than a few years of real hard living.

Also, amazing talent.

RIP. Really enjoyed his acting, but that dude was definitely burning it at both ends.

Great scene.

You got 'em robbin' Tarzana National Bank when they was with me in Ft. ****ing Lauderdale.

When I first watched that, I didn't know where either of those places were but now, every time I hear about Fort Lauderdale, it's in that voice from that scene.

He was unreal in both that and SPR.

Are you trying to make me rewatch True Romance right now? Cause that's how you make me stay up late and watch True Romance right now!

RIP... truly one of the great supporting actors.

This thread would be lacking without the insertion of moby's two contributions utilized in "Heat". One, a great cover of Joy Division, and the other a moby original. RIP Sizemore.

Honestly one of my favorite actors of all time. Truly a great of Gen X era films.

He lived hard, there is no question of that. Too much alcohol, cigs, coke, hookers, and porn stars. Failed/dysfunctional relationships. And stress I am sure.

Absolutely loved him in his big roles - SPR, Blackhawk Down, Dreamcatcher, Heat, The Relic.

Thought he really added so much value in his earlier more minor roles - Point Break, True Romance (a top 10 all time for me), Wyatt Earp, Natural Born Killers, Devil in a Blue Dress, Red Planet, Pearl Harbor.

Looking at his wiki, I hardly know of any of the movies he was in post mid 2000's.

he was good, was clearly chased by his demons.

As a sidenote, Gary Busey aka Special Agent Angelo Pappas outlives Swayze and Sizemore. Figure that out.
