Look don't get me wrong, I can quote ST verbatim and Coconut Pete is one of my favorite Bill Paxton roles, but cmon. ST2 was recycled jokes and doing the shtick in a period piece, it's gonna be too self-aware...

The only original bit was the Danny DeVito gag by the Canadian police.

Canadian Farva was uninspired. The jokes with Rob Lowe's scenes were all "meh." And the "happiness in your household" was borderline cringe because it took 4 minutes to develop.

Maybe Quasi will give the artists a clean palette to work on, but I'm not too optimistic. Just glad they didn't do the sequel to Beerfest, if it would have gotten the ST2 treatment.

Really wasn't trying to argue anything. Just excited for new Broken Lizard.

I love these guys. Hopefully this is more on the level of Super Troopers and Beerfest and less on the level of Club Dread and The Slammin' Salmon.

I will not stand for this Club Dread slander. Maybe you just have to also be a horror movie fan as well as comedy?

Either way, I'm expecting there to be a good handful of genuinely hilarious moments even if the overall movie isnt great.
I'll always see anything they put out.

Slammin Salmon is their best movie.
