Oh, definitely, which is why I didn't flag as a spoiler. Still, as someone who loves that world, I would hate for someone who hasn't watched through the series yet get spoiled.

I thought I was the only person here who never watched Serenity or Firefly!

Caught some bits of the show when it was on SciFy. The series seemed kind of…laconic? Does that sound right?

Surprised no one has ever tried to revive or spin-off Firefly. Show/Movie had great world building. Seems like there would be more meat on that bone to gnaw at.

They were not. It's one of the worst movies I've sat through on purpose. I've never heard anybody like it.

Anytime somebody says "this was the worst movie ever," I always point them to this movie as a reference.

Agreed. Can only guess Whedon or whoever holds the influential stakes in the IP won't let it go or allow it to happen.
