Watching Twisted Sister "we're not gonna take it" video for the 100th time. My child loves it and demands it anytime I'm educating her on the finer things in life (80s to 90s music videos).

I always knew that the same actor from Animal House was the dad. I even pointed out the similarities of his speech to his son and Flounder. I just thought it was a sendup.

But I just realized his wife calls him "Douglas C." Well I checked and yeah that was his character's name in Animal House.

But wasn't he fragged in 'nam?

There's a show called "Sprung" that's out on Freevee currently. It's a Greg Garcia show and if you enjoyed Raising Hope/My Name Is Earl I think you'd probably get a kick out of this show.

The main character in Sprung (Garret Dillahunt) gets his degree online from Frostburg State. I assumed that's a made up college but it's actually a real place and it's Greg Garcia's alma mater!

When Jonathan Taylor Thomas guest starred on "Last Man Standing," there were a bunch of subtle references to "Home Improvement," including one where Tim Allen refers to him as son.

"Last Man Standing" writers did that a lot, with jokes about Tim Allen as Santa Claus, etc.
