There are some people that are legit good comedians, some that are great at crowd work, some that are great riffers and off the cuff, and some that are great storytellers.

I think Bert is a great story teller, but an exceptionally mediocre comedian. Mulaney falls in that camp to me as well at times.

I think Tim Dillon in interviews is absolutely hysterical, but i didn't care for his standup.

Mark Rafe doesn't make me laugh with his jokes that much, but his crowdwork is fantastic.

Schultz is pretty good at all 4 in my opinion.

Brent Crystals is one of those guys that really SHOULDN'T be funny, but surprisingly is? He seems like he should be a Larry the Cable Guy level hack, but his stuff is legitimately hysterical at times. The escape room bit on his most recent special might be one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
