Did you ride the train near the zoo?

Dino skeletons in Witte Museum there near the zoo. Also stuffed wild animals of Texas.

Ride the boat around the Riverwalk.

Witte also has some interactive stuff: Dig for dino bones. Some other STEM kind of stuff. Ask at the desk.

Take them to the mission tours, the alamo, and the riverwalk. Make sure you take a riverboat tour and learn about where Carol Burnett was born. You'll be impressed!!

If your kid is into trains and fire trucks etc. there's a transportation museum off Wurzbach Parkway and Wetmore. Includes a short ride on a real locomotive too. There's several engines and a few old school passenger rail cars out there and some really large and model train sets on one side of the property.

Thanks everyone, doing Doseum Friday if we get in town early enough and the Alamo and riverwalk in the evening. Wife is a distant relative to Davy Crockett so we can't miss the Alamo.

Buckhorn Saloon, if your kid is into animals and not freaked out by taxidermied animals. Took my kid last summer when he was about that age and he absolutely loved it.
