Hell I'm barely starting to make a dent in my queue now that there's not much new TV coming out. I recently finished up Jury Duty (hilarious), Beef (great), and am watching Winning Time on Sunday nights.

I've had The Bear on my list a while and I may start that next.

I watched up to episode 2 of S2 of the Witcher and never finished it. Is it worth finishing out the show?

I would watch foundation over the Witcher. The third season drops off heavily.

I'm currently watching (all of which are currently airing)...

- Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the New York Jets
- Minx - S2
- Reservation Dogs - S3
- Winning Time - S2

And then, as mentioned, Ahsoka starts next week.

I don't watch any of these (yet), but season seven of Billions, season three of Only Murders in the Building , and Justified: City Primeval are all currently airing as well.

In other words, I feel like there's a pretty decent selection out there, especially for August.

my issue is my current/most recent baclog is getting pared down as I just find myself not caring:

wtcher sucked, dropped early
minx, just could not care about
what we do in the shadows - i have got tired of it. it can be funny, but it is not funny enough of the time.
foundation - just not motivated for that kind of story, plus no characters to root for.
harley quinn - find fatigue has kicked in there too.
etc

I really, really wanted to like this show. I read the books when I was a teen.

There is not one , likable character, in that show.

Just finished the 1st season of "From" and starting the second. Has a very "Lost" vibe with mild horror elements. Might be an option if that genre is your thing.

I don't have anything in rotation right now. I keep trying different Apple + shows, but they all seem to fall flat. Two episodes of Hijack and had to bail because it was too stupid. Silo got incredibly boring and I think I made it three episodes before bailing.

Might be time to start cutting back on some streaming services.

With episodes currently airing, I'm watching Minx, Futurama, and Billions.

Giving up on Justified for now, but will probably just binge the final 3 episodes after they've aired.

With football coming up this should be enough

Only Murders in the Building just started a new season.

I am so behind on everything I feel like I'll never have time to watch it all. I can't keep up with everything. Between these and a ton of movies I want to see that I haven't seen yet I feel like I'll always have something to fire up and enjoy.

I got nothing after STSNW either. I'm super picky so the only series I've watched this year were Silo, Ted Lasso & The Last of Us.

I skipped The Mandolorian season 3 after the Obi-Wan disaster & the trash that the Boba Fett series devolved into.

Going to wait to see how the returns are on Ashoka prior to buying Disney again.

College Football is only a couple of weeks away & then I won't need a series to watch!

We also finished ST:SNW & Picard Season 3 was so much better than the previous 2 schlock seasons.
We are watching Angel since we missed it when it came out.
We did the same with Stargate series and Farscape.
A lot of great watchable shows came out between 1995-2008.
We switched over to Starz to finish Outlander the other day.
After loving Ted Lasso, we could not make it thru the first episode of season 3.

Good thread. Timely from a number of perspectives: 1) writers/actors strike, 2) late summer doldrums giving way to start of school.

Personally, we are in a very good holding pattern here. Just finished Lincoln Lawyer season two, Fubar, almost done with Justified: City Primeval, and season one of Firefly Lane.

Taking a break from a lot of stuff right now, including tv, as we celebrate night two of Seattle partying before setting sail on an Alaskan cruise tomorrow. Couldn't come at a better time in our lives, honestly.

I dont think I've actively watched a show since breaking bad. Stayed up with better call Saul some but ended up just finishing it on Netflix

Being a bit of a regret), I like having a show to look forward to each week. Had a big presentation this week at work on Wednesday so put off watching only murders until Wednesday night to have something of a reward, as dumb as that sounds for a 40 year old man. Lol.

The Challenge USA season 2 is 2 episodes in and seems like it's going to be a fun one! Uncensored on Paramount Plus!

Afterparty season 2 on Apple TV+ is also a good one.

I'm so far behind on shows that I don't even know where to start. I get tired head immediately when even thinking about starting something new...so I never do. When my wife and I find a rare show we both want to watch I will latch onto that so in that queue we have the following all of which we are waiting on:

• The Crown
• Tokyo Vice
• Severance

I'm watching The Boys but I watch it in spurts about every 6 months.

I have shows in my queue that the rest of you watched a decade ago or more. That's how far behind I am.

Wife and I are struggling for new shows so we picked up where we left off on Modern Family a number of years ago. And enjoying it. It's so well written but it's so formulaic we burnt out around S6. Enjoying finishing it now.

But we are a football couple so we have that teeing up which is very good and the norm for us.

Just haven't had anything really get our attention recently. That's fine, there are other things to do that watch tv (like turn the volume up on it and lock the door).

We're watching Lioness, Only Murders in the Building, and Justified right now. Definitely looking forward to Ahsoka and there's a new The Boys spinoff coming out before too long as well. College football starts this weekend and EPL kicked off last.

I try to let my wife have the television controls when it's not football season since I'm going to turn into a zombie in a couple of weeks.
