I am planning a bachelor party for the middle of the week in December. We want to gamble, golf, drink at either Winstar or Choctaw. We are in our early 20s.

What is the best option out of these two?

I think Choctaw used to be no alcohol. Probably want to check on that.

Either way, this is not a great idea. I was broke too and it makes things tough. At least look into Shreveport casinos.

Caveat - I did my bachelor party at Choctaw. Stayed at a local hotel for dirt cheap instead of casino. Had a great time. Choctaw was easier to get to as most of the guys were dads and needed shorter commutes.

I would have rather done Winstar. I prefer that casino as I've won a massive amount of money there compared to Choctaw.

Win-star has the better golf course and steak house. Trick on that is you can order the steak from the steakhouse at the Mickey mantle bar next door.

Choctaw has alcohol and all that. 1832 steakhouse is good but not like Winstar.

Both have alcohol that are full price. Both have non smoking sections. Both have massively upgraded hotels but are super expensive to stay. Concerts are fun at both. Just a matter of hotel price and where you are coming from.

If you go Winstar, stay in Gainesville. They have far cheaper hotels and some custom B and Bs you could probably get all the rooms and own the place.

Sometimes you're balling on a budget. Do whatever you can afford

My bro and I let a guy join us golfing at the Golden Nugget and he was saying that Shreveport is really bad now and casinos are almost dead. Claimed that both of the major casinos in Oklahoma were vastly superior.

Choctaw isn't bad since the renovation. I'm 99% sure they serve alcohol. There iS just no other real night life there, so if you are interested in that, just be aware you are looking at driving to Dallas. I'd recommend Finding a decent artist performing there and your trip around that. It keeps all your buds from blowing all of their cash the first night gambling. Never played golf at either location.

Just don't try to slash your wrists with an electric razor and enjoy the really tall woman
