No doubt a tour will be announced soon, right?? I plan on spending T-Swift level ticket prices to see them.

Actually Creed Bratton is a musician. And that's also his IRL name.

He died. A guy from the Scranton paper wrote his obituary.

If you're going to spend that much, Creed will probably just come to your house and play a set.

Creed is a playlist guilty pleasure for me. They have more than a handful of bangers that I used to hate but have somehow aged well. Maybe because it reminds me of good times in college.

It depends, the rhythm section of Creed actually formed another band that is pretty successful. Alter Bridge

They have a lot of great songs, and that's one of my favorite ones as well. I'm not sure why people poke fun.

I will say that, similar to someone like John Mayer, their best stuff to me is the stuff that didn't get worn out on the radio, so I can understand that people who only heard the radio anthems might not have been as impressed.

About 18 years ago, a group of guys from the office were at Hooters in Addison for our guys lunch. One of my coworkers kept saying, Dude, Scott Stapp from Creed is sitting right behind you. I turn around and see some dude, and I"m like, hahaha, funny.

He gets up and then all the hooters girls are taking pictures with him. No ****, it was Scott Stapp.

No clue why he was eating at Hooters in Addison on a random Friday as Creed had already broken up. He might've been playing solo at Trees or something.

He played a solo show on thurs 6/29/3006 at nokia live in grand prairie, last show of his tour.
Not unreasonable to assume he stayed in town, and ended up in addison Hooters, just some 20 miles away.

I don't understand how so many people can say they don't like Creed either.

They were together for all of 4 years with 3 albums, and had sold 25million records at that point. This was before streaming.. that's straight album sales. Yet no body admits to liking them?? Right.

Hand over your case logic buddy, let me take a look.

I never stopped giving love to the first record, even through all the hate they got in early/mid 2000s.
I don't know that I've ever listened to the others all the way through, maybe I'll give them a shot now.

About 18 years ago, Hooters was still known for its talent. Any north Dallas location assuredly was loaded with talent, especially on a Friday shift.

Hmmm.........rock star............hot chicks..............hotel room. Yeah, I don't have a clue what he might have been up to either.

They were good but nothing too original and their sound just got old.

Plus Stapp ended up being a huge hypocrite but we tend to forgive things as time goes by.

I admit liking them back then, but now it's just meh to me.

It definitely had talent.

I just didn't know he was performing in Dallas, but now I know when and where.

I was never a huge Creed fan but I had a roommate at A&M that loved them, so I was pretty familiar with their first two albums as he played them constantly. The first album has some decent songs, but the second album annoyed the crap out of me.

They were played so much I can see how people kind of got sick of them. And they're not "deep" or "edgy", so i can see how they're not for everyone, but to me, it's good music to blare while haulin ass down the highway. Their first album was the best and most raw imo, but I still like songs like this one...they made some solid tunes.

There are a lot of songs from that era that I just didn't dig because I was into heavier stuff or diff genres, but that I now love because of the nostalgia and memories they bring back. Certain Creed songs take me back to one of my favorite summers where my roommate and I had minimal hours and spent damn near every day or evening perfecting out crafts at POETS.
