More DEI/anti-racist propaganda, this one purports to explain the history of racial slavery. It is in the same vein as 13th, even uses some of the same clips and regurgitates the same themes. I enjoyed how they attempted to define 'blackness', and then stereotype all white people as being the same. They refuse to hold a mirror up to themselves to see their own hypocrisy, but revel in their educated ignorance.
They rail against the 'white savior complex', then implore whites to help create an 'anti-racist' society. If 'black people saved themselves' (they actually seem to agree with the idea that the Civil War wasn't about slavery), then why make this movie? If you honestly believe the only reason white people do anything is because of the 'white savior complex', why are you asking for their help?
