What happens to Standish has me very curious, as well as River's trajectory.
My concern is that the next book is (IMO) the weakest of all the main books. I did not really like the storyline or character development in book 4.

I am hoping they punch up the storyline a lot.
I have not read the Slow Horses series. I am going to start this series, while waiting for the next Mitch Rapp novel and Red Sky Mourning from Jack Carr (Terminal List series).

I haven't read any of these books but might have to after this series. I see he also has written five novellas on Jackson Lamb. I wonder if those have enough depth for a season?

My wife and I watch UK based shows almost exclusively . Their crime shows are just better/smarter. We also watch everything that is put out by Masterpiece Theatre. So far we've resisted getting Britbox or we would never do anything other than watch tv.

I watch a ton of YouTube clips from shows like Taskmaster, 8 out of 10 Cats, Big Fat Quiz, Would I Lie to You?, etc. Graham Norton is also a great talk show.

I watched episodes 3-6 last night and really enjoyed it. How they get out of every situation at the end is very satisfying.

The previews have me highly interested in the next season, especially since it looked like River's grandfather and Standish wouldn't be players moving forward.

I'm definitely Eurotrash at heart. Been that way since I lived for a year in Germany in 1974.

And I have enjoyed this series immensely. I hope they keep the quality up.

Wife and I watched season three over two nights. God I love this show so much. The dialogue is fantastic. One of the best shows out there IMO. Gary Oldham is a brilliant rumpled sticky mess
