Haven't seen anyone post on this one yet.

I thought it had promise but was wrapped up pretty quickly and in the end it felt underwhelming (even with the big reveal...).

I wasn't aware of the book before tuning in...

The ending was just over the top. I was sitting there wondering how in the hell they were going to wrap it up in ten minutes. That was a wild last 10 minutes and it kind of ruined it. That and Jeff Daniels Fog Horn Leg Horn imitation of a southerner.

Decent series. Jeff Daniels was actually born in Athens, Georgia but the fake accent was a bit over the top.

The acting was atrocious. Some folks played it totally straight while others completely hammed it up.

It's like they were working on two different shows.

The book was a satire but they did a poor job of portraying that in the show.
