Kind of a weird vibe for the first half hour or so, and mostly wasn't feeling it.

But at some point after that, it seemed to settle into a groove, and picked way up from there. Really enjoyed pretty much everything from that point forward.

Some hilarious, fan-service moments that got HUGE reactions from the audience.

In the end I think it ended up being better than the last movie, but not quite on the level of 1-2.

Overall a good time at the theater.

Cool. Wife and I are all Gen X in on this.

We saw the trailer on tv last night and we started making middle age people jokes.

Will: get off the couch man we gotta kick some ass

Martin: dope, I got you six man

Will: hold up, damn, my back is killing me

Martin: aight, all good, got some Aleve in the car, let's roll

My fondest memory of the original Bad Boys was seeing it in a theater with a large group of friends and all the guys immediately recognizing Lisa Boyle as the eye candy in the first scene because she had been in 30 or 40 Cinemax movies, while none of the girls had the faintest ideas who she was.

I support Will because he was legit iconic in the 90's. His sh** made life more fun. Summertime was literally our chill party anthem back in the day. He was everywhere and everyone loved him and rightfully so.

I have also always felt bad for him. Jada is f'n BSC but he stuck with her even after the humiliations. I get it to a degree but once the kids were teens he should have kicked her ass to the curb (figuratively before anyone gets huffy).

All that said, he needed to spend a night in jail for slapping Chris. That was assault.

Pretty much agree with your post top to bottom.

I remember in 4th grade (1997-98) we were assigned to write a letter to our favorite celebrity. I wrote one to Will Smith.

Couldn't tell you what I said but he was pretty much the coolest guy in the world at the time, with ID4 and MIB back-to-back. (Plus I watched Fresh Prince all the time.)

I think I saw MIB in the theatre summer of 97, right after I graduated from A&M.

And you were in 4th grade. Damn I'm old.

Oh no, anyway. Every time we go to Universal we have a family contest on the MIB ride. My oldest son always wins.

I refuse to watch any Will Smith movie or show. Jada baited him to strike Chris Rock. She slept with her son's friend for goodness sake. She also runs all over him. He should have left her years ago yet she walks all over him.

FTR I feel the same way about Spacey.
