Which would you choose? On one hand, you could end the needless starvation of hundreds of millions of people. On the other, we could get a satisfying ending to what at one point was the greatest TV ever.

For those that say Solve World Hunger, what if you could also rewrite the Star Wars Prequels (or Sequels, whichever you prefer)?

Not specific enough.

Do we have to write it ourselves? Do we erase the last season from existence and get GRRM to write it?

Solve world hunger. I've already sat through the pain that was Season 8 of GOT, so even if it could be fixed the memories of my original disappointment would always linger.

/edit: my answer above applies to the Prequels as well.

Solving world hunger is easy to solve, get rid of Globalists, NGOs and 3 letter agencies who hate the world.

I have had one thing I would have edited into the final episode of GoTs. (at least I think it was the finale)
Before Daenerys burns Kings Landing to the ground (just before the attached scene) she is on her dragon getting angry but waiting. I can barely remember all of the context now, but I always thought that while she looked over the city from atop the wall, have a kid with a sling whirl up and throw a stone and scratch her on the cheek. Then she goes BS crazy. Otherwise I never felt there was a good enough reason to kill everyone.

GRRM actually finishes the books, so the GOT writers have material to base the final season on.

Don't solve world hunger. There's already too many people. [/Thanos. And Bill Burr]

Solve world hunger as in forever ever? Like, no one will ever go hungry again in the history of humankind?

Can the other choice include the last 2-3 seasons? Because I don't remember exactly when it went bad, but it was before the final season. The final season was just the turd on top of the crap cake.

If it includes the last 2-3 seasons then easy. Rewrite the final seasons of GOT. No question.

I can write a better final season than those dummies did in a month.

Yeah, if you're still going to have Dany go Mad King, they need something to set her off. I think if someone attacked her dragon, it would do it. Or possibly, the people of King's Landing don't immediately support her because they view her as a foreigner, or something like that.

I would be ok with not having her go Mad Queen, but have Cersei go Mad Queen. Maybe have some situation where Dany has to choose between saving the city from Cersei or saving her dragon. Have Dany choose the city, and in the end it shows that she is not like her father. Maybe that's too cliche, though.

I like your thoughts also on a War of the Queens.
She needed an innocent to do a small thing "to break the camels back"
A rock flung at her or her Dragon I think would have felt better than what they gave us.
There is a lot to clean up in the last few seasons, that fans could have written better.

World hunger could be solved if the developed countries wanted to. We could easily produce and export enough grain in USA and central Europe if there really was political will and the countries with starving kids were not so corrupt and essentially stealing foreign aid.

I actually was not that disappointed in the ending. You could see how ruthless and crazy Dany could be several times building up to her breaking point. Off the top of my head:

The Warlock Tower
The Slavers
The other town where they called her mother
The children of the harpy.

When someone stood up to her she pulled out all the stops.

What I did not like was the ending of the Walkers. They were such a looming threat far beyond the petty wars of men and Aryia just comes in deus-ex-machina and finishes them. Lame.

Having all the Dothraki die at the hands of the White Walkers during the first 9 seconds of the battle of winterfell, but then they were all magically alive again when Dany took KL was an interesting choice that needs to be reset.

Having Jon Snow's identity be revealed after 6 seasons of speculation and mean absolutely nothing and have no impact on the rest of the story other than him not getting to put his Valyrian Steel inside his hot aunt anymore could also use a fix.

You are aware that dropping population of the world, especially developed countries, is a far greater threat than overpopulation at this point correct?

As an example of how we could solve world hunger by ourselves, we pay crazy amounts for farmers to NOT grow crops.

We could pay them to grow crops then export to the starving folks if we could rely on the locals to distribute food instead of stealing it and selling it for their own profit.

Aaannnnd that sound is all of the fun rushing out from a ridiculously hypothetical question revolving around GOT's craptastic final season.

The problem is GOT quality nosedived in S7 when people started teleporting across Westeros, and Dany made it from Dragonstone across the wall in a matter of hours.

If world hunger is solved by crushing the economic structure of over half the world by making food free…..then I'd re-write a Star War….
